Interdisciplinary artist is Elise Lyon is AWTHENTIC!
Talented and accomplished, interdisciplinary artist, Elise Lyon could have very well continued on successfully doing her work in the fashion industry. Many would have been very satisfied to do so. But some five years ago she was summoned by divine order to return to her love and great gift to paint. She astutely took the leap of faith, answered the call and hasn’t looked back since.
Lyon, a trained artist, has garnered critical acclaim and made tremendous successful strides during this time fashioning a unique style of her own using a blend of conventional and unconventional materials as a means to create emotive pieces full of depth, texture, and rich colors that emit riveting stories without words. As a result, she’s drawn the attention of art lovers and celebrities such as actor Malik Yoba, rap artist T.I and actor Khalil Kain along with having her work displayed in premier contemporary art gallery, Buckhead Art & Company in Atlanta and most recently at Studio One in New York City for her solo exhibition ‘Heirlooms’. You can also find her works showcased on Peacock’s TV show ‘Bel-Air’.
